A. Participant Guidelines:

  • Anyone born between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2012 who is a Hong
  • Kong resident can register, and some activities have age restrictions.
  • Participants must complete and submit a health declaration form and a parental
  • consent form to the responsible staff of the organization before the start of the activity. Failure to do so may result in being denied participation.
  • Participants should carefully read the registration guidelines and activity
  • information before registering.
  • The number of available slots for the activities is limited, and registration criteria
  • can be found in the activity information.
  • After completing the online registration form, participants will receive a
  • confirmation email, but it does not guarantee successful registration.
  • Registration for the activities will close at least 7 working days before the event or earlier, and a confirmation email will be sent to successful applicants at least 7 days before the event starts.
  • If the participant needs to withdraw from an activity, they should notify the
  • responsible organization via email.
  • Due to limited activity resources and to avoid resource duplication, applicants
  • who register multiple times may have their participation opportunities adjusted by the organization.
  • Coaches/instructors and staff of the organization have the right to refuse
  • undisciplined participants from continuing the classes.
  • If at any time a coach/instructor observes that a participant's health condition is
  • not suitable for learning or they exhibit symptoms of infectious diseases such as fever, respiratory symptoms (e.g. cough, runny nose, sore throat), conjunctivitis, rashes, open wounds, etc., the coach/instructor has the right to terminate their participation for safety reasons.
  • If a participant suspects they have been sexually harassed, they should promptly inform the staff of the organization or contact the Equal Opportunities Commission at 2511 8211 for advice. For the definition and behavior related to "Sexual Harassment," please refer to the Equal Opportunities Commission website: http://www.eoc.org.hk.
  • Participants are not allowed to bring pets to the activities.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all activities will be conducted in Cantonese.
  • The organization may take photos and videos during the activities, and these photos or activity footage will be used for promotional purposes only.
  • In case of any changes or disputes regarding the activities, the TYoG project. reserves the right to make the final decision, and participants shall not raise objections.

B. Other Activity Matters:

Activity Cancellation

  • In the event of a special incident (e.g. urgent equipment or venue maintenance) or reasonable circumstances that prevent the activity from taking place as scheduled, the organization will, if feasible, arrange makeup classes or reschedule the activity. If it is not possible to arrange an alternative, the activity will regrettably be canceled.
  • If the activity is canceled due to insufficient registrations, the organization will send a cancellation notice email to the applicants 5 days prior to the activity.

C. Arrangements for Adverse Weather Conditions (before class/event)

If the Education Bureau announces class suspension, all activities will be canceled. Unless otherwise specified, the following arrangements will be made if the Hong Kong Observatory issues the following warning signals within 2 hours before the activity takes place:

Remarks:

  • For the safety of participants, the organization may cancel the activity or change the location based on the weather conditions. Coaches/instructors should pay attention to and follow up on any changes.
  • Please stay alert, and monitor news reports, weather updates, and the progress of the activity to timely inform the coaches/instructors and participants about any arrangements.
  • In case of activity cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, relevant
  • participants will be notified by email from the organization's staff.
  • Coaches/instructors may consider exchanging emergency contact phone numbers with the organization/school authorities to facilitate immediate communication in case of emergencies.
  • After the cancellation of the warning signals, some activities may proceed as
  • scheduled, subject to transportation, venue availability, and safety conditions.
  • If there are any doubts or questions regarding whether to continue or reschedule the activity after the cancellation of warning signals, coaches/instructors should promptly seek clarification from the responsible person of the organization.
  • If the activity venue is not affected by thunderstorms, the responsible
  • coaches/instructors and venue staff may decide whether to proceed with the activity as usual based on the weather conditions. They should also inform the organization's responsible person about the relevant arrangements to ensure safety.

D. Arrangements for Adverse Weather (during Class/event)
