Go! Voucher! FAQ

1. Who is eligible to get a “Go!Voucher!” ? voucher_header.png

A Hong Kong resident born between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2012 can register for the voucher draw. Those who complete the following will be eligible to receive a voucher:

  • Being drawn in the batches designated for your date of birth; and then
  • Completing identity authentication in person at a selected networked center within 30 days from the result notification.

Note: Each person can only be successfully drawn once. Winners of any round of draws who fail to complete the authentication within the said period will not receive the voucher and will not be eligible to register in other rounds.


2. Why must I purchase at least two tickets when using the voucher?

"Go! Voucher!" aims to empower youth who hesitate to take the first step in embarking on an exploration journey and sharing happiness with their peers. The voucher is the key resource to support every pair/group of buddies to go out, try an event, and create memorable moments.


3. I did not win the draw in this round. Can I enter the draw again in the next round?

Yes, if there is a next round. If you are not drawn, your personal information will be kept until you are drawn or the final round. You can log in to the website during the applicable period and click "re-draw" to participate in the draw. If you do not click "re-draw", you will not be included.

4. What is a “networked centre”? 

For the convenience of draw winners, we have established a network of over 100 centers across the territory, including government-subsidised Integrated Children and Youth Services Centers (ICYSC), Children and Youth Centers (CYCs), and other service units operated by youth service agencies. The staff at these centers are professionals in providing youth support and will facilitate the authentication process for the Go! Voucher! in this project.


5. I have won the draw, but I could not find the time to complete authentication. Can I still receive the voucher?

No, the voucher will only be issued to draw winners who can complete the authentication process within the specified period. As there are over 100 networked centers , you may consider visiting the one that is most convenient for you. For inquiries about appointments, please contact info@tyog.hk.


6. I have mistakenly won the draw in a batch that is not applicable to my date of birth. Can I still receive the voucher?

No. Only winner who is verified a true person and born during the batch’s designated period of birth are eligible to receive the voucher.


7. How many vouchers I can get at most?

Only one voucher per person.


8. I have not used the full $400 for the purchase. Can I make another purchase with the remaining amount?

No, the voucher can only be used once. Any unused amount will be forfeited after the purchase.


9. Can I purchase two tickets of event with total amount higher than $400?

Yes, you can. When you choose to use the voucher, the total amount will be deducted by $400. You will need to pay the remaining amount using the available payment methods at the ticketing platform.


10. How long is the voucher valid for?

The voucher is valid for 120 days from the date of the welcome email sent by your selected ticketing platform. You will receive a reminder email from the platform 30 days before the expiry date.


11. Is the voucher and the purchased tickets transferable?

No, both the voucher and the purchased tickets using the voucher is non-transferrable and non-exchangeable for cash or other valuable consideration and is not for sale.


12. Can I purchase everything at the ticketing platforms with my voucher? 

No, you can only purchase eligible events of the Project with your voucher. Eligible events are:

  • Cityline: Events that tagged TYoG
  • Art-mate: Events that listed on the event page


13. Why can't I use my voucher on the selected platform?

Please check if the event you choose is listed eligible at the designated event page.

For Cityline, platform users with the registered email for the Go! Voucher! can choose to use the discount directly on the event purchase page. Please ensure that you have logged in to the correct account.

For Art-mate, you will need to enter your exclusive code and the registered email for the Go! Voucher! on the purchase page. Please make sure that you have entered the correct code and email.

14. If the event I purchased gets canceled, can I use my voucher again to purchase another event?

If the host cancels the event due to unforeseeable circumstances and arranges a refund, the voucher will be re-issued to your account/linked email. You will have another 14-day period to use the voucher again. The re-issuance will only occur once.
